Privacy Policy
FloorFit™ regards the issue of the privacy and security of our customers very seriously. From time to time, however, we are sometimes asked by potential customers for references, and photographs showing the work we have done. This often requires us to contact past customers, provide contact imformation, and to show photographs of the interiors of customers´ premises.
We understand that it is important to all of our customers that their privacy and security is maintained, and they are not subject to unwanted public scrutiny or imposition.
It is therefore of the highest priority to us that our customers have confidence that their privacy and security will be maintained during the course of our work.
To this end, in reassurance to our customers that their privacy and security will be maintained by FloorFit™, we have set out the following ´customer privacy policy´:
1. FloorFit™ will not arrange or facilitate visits to customer homes for the purpose of viewing our work, by those requesting references; or site visits to commercial properties by those requesting references, for the purpose of viewing our work. Unless, they are commercial properties such as ´Show Homes´ open to the general public for viewing.
2. FloorFit™ will not disclose the telephone numbers or addresses of a customer´s premises to third parties, or make them generally available outside of our company, for any purpose, without the expressed consent of the customer.
3. All photographs of flooring released by FloorFit™, taken at customer premises for the provision of references, or marketing, shall not provide a floor plan or guide to the layout of a customers premises.
4. If a customer declines to give their consent for the release of photographs taken by FloorFit at their premises, and other information for the provision of references, or marketing, FloorFit shall not disclose such information.
5. FloorFit™ will make every reasonable effort to maintain customer privacy and security, and to ensure customers are not subject to unwanted public scrutiny or imposition, as a result of our work.
6. All information held about customers by FloorFit™ is held in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998, and will not be released without their expressed consent.
